Jeffrey Célavie ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered guidance service that uses astrology, chakra wisdom, and cosmic data to offer personal insights. We operate the website jeffreycelavie.team and associated services. Our mission is to help you better understand yourself — not to collect your data.

Our Approach to Privacy

We believe your inner life is yours. Jeffrey is designed to be a space of reflection and discovery, not surveillance. We collect only what is strictly necessary to make the service work.

What We Collect

When you use Jeffrey, the service may process:

• Messages you send and responses generated during your session
• Birth details (date, time, and place of birth) — provided voluntarily for astrology chart calculation
• Basic technical information (device type, browser, session activity, approximate location derived from timezone)
• Anonymous usage statistics to improve the service (via Google Analytics)

If you make a purchase, payment is handled by Stripe, or by Dodo Payments for orders from India. We do not store your financial information (credit card numbers, bank details).

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time.

If you upload documents for analysis, they are processed for that purpose only and are not retained beyond your session.

Some of this information may be collected automatically through standard web technologies. None of it is used to identify you personally, target you with advertising, or sold to third parties.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

We process your data on the following legal grounds:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for newsletter subscriptions and optional data you choose to provide
• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to deliver the astrology readings and Prophecy Cards you request or purchase
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — for anonymous analytics, service improvement, and security

How We Use Your Information

We reserve the right to review a limited and anonymous sample of interactions for quality, safety, and improvement purposes. Any such review is conducted by authorized personnel under strict confidentiality.

Data Sharing & Sub-processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted third-party services that help us operate:

• AI infrastructure — Google (Gemini models, to generate readings)
• Database & authentication — Supabase
• Analytics — Google Analytics
• Payments — certified third-party payment processor
• Email — newsletter delivery service

These partners process data on our behalf under their own data protection standards, which meet or exceed applicable regulations. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

Data Retention

• Chat sessions — the messages you send and the replies you receive are stored, so we can improve the accuracy and the tone of the readings. They are not sold and not shared for advertising. Ask us and we delete yours
• Prophecy Card data — retained for the duration necessary to deliver and support your purchase
• Newsletter emails — retained until you unsubscribe
• Analytics data — anonymized and aggregated; individual session data expires per Google Analytics defaults
• Uploaded documents — deleted at end of session

Cookies

Jeffrey uses minimal cookies to make the service function. Essential session cookies are necessary for the service to work. We also use localStorage to maintain a visitor identifier for anonymous presence tracking. You may adjust your browser settings to manage cookies at any time — disabling cookies may affect service functionality.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right of access (Art. 15) — obtain a copy of your data
• Right to rectification (Art. 16) — correct inaccurate data

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through Jeffrey. Our infrastructure is powered by Google AI services and Supabase, both of which maintain enterprise-grade security practices. No system is completely secure — we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority of any breach that affects your rights, as required by GDPR Articles 33 and 34.

The stars offer perspective — the choices are always yours. Jeffrey is designed to inspire and support, never to direct or replace your own judgment. If you are going through a difficult time, we encourage you to seek support from a qualified professional or someone you trust.

Age Requirement

Jeffrey is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data from users under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via a notice on the website. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision was made.
